Supporting Families, One Milestone at a Time
Parents of babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at UCHealth often face an unexpected and overwhelming journey. The NICU is a specialized unit designed to care for babies who need extra support after birth due to prematurity, illness, or other complications. Babies may need to stay in the NICU for weeks or even months as they receive life-saving care. You can help make that journey easier for them.
The NICU Parent and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) was established in 2015 to enhance collaboration between families and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team. Comprised of dedicated parent volunteers who have experienced the NICU firsthand, the council works closely with hospital staff to develop meaningful programs that support both current and former NICU families. Our mission is to advocate for patient needs from a family’s perspective and foster a supportive, family-centered environment within the NICU.

To make a contribution via a payroll deduction, visit the UCHealth Employee Giving website and select Northern Colorado Foundation with your donation. Please select “NCF NICU PFAC” as the designation for your donation. Step-by-step instructions on making your payroll deduction are included below.
SETTING UP YOUR PAYROLL DONATION
- Visit our Employee Giving page via StratusLive to begin your donation
- Sign in using your UCHealth employee email address and password
- Select Northern Colorado Foundation
- Click the “GIVE TOGETHER” button
- Select “Make a new one-time, recurring or PTO Gift” under gift options and continue
- Select your payment method and gift amount
- Select your desired fund
- Scroll to the bottom of the page to continue and complete your gift
