FMC Food Pantry

Supporting the Health of Our Community Through Food

The Family Medicine Center (FMC) Food Pantry opened in 2017 in response to a survey of more than 2,000 patients that revealed high levels of food insecurity. Thanks to the generosity of donors, our on-site pantry provides free, nutritious food to individuals and families in need. By integrating food access with health care services, patients can receive both essential medical care and nourishment—all in a single visit.

A Client-Choice Model

Our pantry operates on a client-choice model, empowering individuals to select the foods that best meet their needs, including dietary restrictions for themselves and their family members. The pantry is open to all Larimer County residents in need of food assistance.

Fresh Food for a Healthier Community

Through a unique partnership with UCHealth and the Food Bank for Larimer County, the FMC Food Pantry connects nutrition to overall health and well-being.

With your generosity, we provide a variety of fresh and shelf-stable foods, including fresh fruits and vegetables, dairy products, proteins, and canned and packaged staples like beans, pasta, and peanut butter.

In 2024, the FMC Food Pantry served our fort collins community through:

It takes a community to nourish our community

This department relies on generous donors to provide essential food for individuals and families across northern Colorado. A recurring gift of just $5 can supply 63 gallons of local milk or more than 330 pounds of fresh, nutritious food—helping ensure no family goes without. Thank you for supporting the FMC Food Pantry.
