In partnership with UCHealth Northern Colorado Foundation, Women Investing in Strategies for Health (WISH) is a giving circle formed by a group of local women, to educate, empower and inspire women philanthropists. Supporting the health needs of our community through UCHealth programs, partnerships and services provided in Larimer and Weld counties, WISH has awarded nearly $500,000 in funds since 2015.
PROGRAM & APPLICATION
We believe small projects can turn into great accomplishments with the right resources. The WISH FY2025 grant cycle will focus on projects that would not otherwise be budgeted for without prior demonstration of viability. The following areas will be prioritized:
- Proof of Concept: Evidence obtained from a pilot project, which is executed to demonstrate that of a business plan, product idea, or project feasibility
- Innovation: A new method, idea, or product

How do I apply?
Your WISH application will be submitted through ZoomGrants. Please review the Requirements & Criteria closely.
Who is eligible to apply?
UCHealth departments who support the following northern Colorado hospitals and affiliated clinics are encouraged to apply: PVH, GH, MCR
Anything else I should know about the application process?
Applicants must have supervisor approval and provide cost center coding for any over-expenditures of awarded funds. Chosen proposals involving priority focus areas will be interviewed by a member of the WISH selection committee as part of the review and evaluation process. This may be in person or virtual and does not guarantee an award.
How much money will be awarded through a WISH grant?
- Maximum project awards: $4,000
- Total anticipated awardees: 8
What's the application timeline?
- Applications will be open: April 15, 2024 – May 15, 2024
- Application review and interviews: mid-June, 2024 – mid-July, 2024
- Notice of Awards: by August 30, 2024
- Anticipated Award Expenditure Cycle: September 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025
Ineligible Requests
Proposals for existing program/project expenses will not be considered. Due to higher applicant volumes and limited funding, WISH FY2025 grants will focus on proof of concept ideas and innovative approaches to health care within UCHealth. Budget items that are ineligible for awards: office supplies, gift cards, salaries, benefits, food and catering, cellphones, mileage.
